DR. EMILY PILOTTE Dr. Emily Pilotte is originally from Ohio. She attended Miami University in Oxford, OH, graduating with a BA in Zoology and a BS in Exercise Science. She moved to Boston to attend optometry school at the New England College of Optometry and received her doctorate in Optometry in 2003. After graduating, Dr. Pilotte worked at the New England College of Optometry and New England Eye Institute as a clinical instructor. She was a preceptor for first year optometry students on vision screenings for Boston area schools and Head Start programs. She was also a contact lens lab instructor for second year students. In addition to her teaching positions, Dr. Pilotte worked in a private ophthalmology practice with a glaucoma focus. Dr. Pilotte has been at Hopkinton Eye Associates since 2010 and enjoys seeing patients of all ages. She is a sports enthusiast and has taken an interest in sports vision. She is a member of the American Optometric Sports Vision Section, a well as the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists. Working part time at Hopkinton Eye Associates allows Dr. Pilotte to balance her passion for optometry and her family life. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and twin girls. Dr. Pilotte also has fun playing with her girls, baking, and competing in triathlons. |
